I had to replace the hard drive on my Dell Latitude D600. I then re-loaded Windows XP Pro and thought I had a CD with all of the required drivers. I cannot connect to the internet. When I go into device manager; under other devices; the network controller is highlighted. It is telling me that the drivers for this device are not installed (code 2. I need to know the name of this driver as it may be on the CD I have but I am such a novice I am missing it. Please remember, I cannot connect to the internet so I cannot access Dell's web site or a driver software (Driver Dectective,DriverMax, etc.) I just need the name and perhaps I can find it out purchase a disk to install.
